Our Objectives – The Foadaan Foundation

To Combat fast forest depletion in Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo District and beyond
To inculcate the habit of planting trees and taking care of them till maturity
To launch a sustainable environmental education campaign in Bunkpurugu/Yunyoo District of Northern Ghana
To setup a gas project to promote the use of bio gas as household fuel instead of charcoal. This will be a measure to reduce pressure on the forest
To promote rabbit and grass cutter breeding and poultry (guinea fowl) farming in the area as means of reducing hunting and bush fires
To reverse the trend of falling standards in education through provision of solar energy and computers to schools in deprived communities
